A controller driving alternative, delayed nitro regeneration and stronger overtime mortars changed how runs handle.
What changed and how to use it
The game gained an alternative controller driving style. Nitro now starts regenerating 0.5 seconds after boost use, changing the value of repeatedly tapping boost. An overtime mortar buff added faster projectiles with a constant flight time.
The hotfix addressed inconsistent Ram damage, player-health rounding, enemy Ballista wheel animation and some loadout or health-related failures. Graphics API behavior changed again, with game-provided launch options for crash troubleshooting.
Compare both driving styles on the same route before changing several control settings. Leave a nitro reserve after a Ram approach rather than assuming immediate recharge. In overtime, give mortar shots more room and read the overtime clock separately from ordinary stage time.
