When to choose it

V8: +10% boost speed while using nitro.

Choose V8 when a faster boosted approach or escape would help your run. With Ram, line up the collision before boosting and leave room to turn after contact.

Pairings and trade-offs

V10 gives +25% boost speed under the same nitro condition, compared with V8’s +10%. For ordinary driving, compare 7th Gear or 8th Gear. If you keep running out of nitro, Catalyst or an Auxilliary Tank addresses that problem more directly. Running Shoes accelerates friendly units when you boost.
