Build around the Ram by leaving room to accelerate, keeping boost available and choosing upgrades that improve your next useful collision. Its automatic collision damage depends on speed; its active ability adds a burst of speed and ramming damage.

Plan the collision, then compare upgrades for the attack you are using.

Line up your first hit
After selecting the Ram, pick a manageable target with open ground beyond it. Set your direction before accelerating. Use the active once you have a path through the encounter, then turn away to prepare another pass.
Judge the result by both sides of the exchange: did the hit connect, and did you leave with enough health and space to try again? If a frontal approach costs too much health, stop repeating it. Circle to find another angle when the target’s front is the part causing trouble.
If you keep missing
Make the next approach simpler. Choose a target away from crowded traffic, establish a straight approach and avoid beginning the turn at the moment you want to collide. Work on repeatable contact before spending every choice on damage.
Choose the next upgrade
Match the upgrade to the obstacle that ended your last useful attack. More damage helps a hit that connects; it does not fix an approach that never reaches the target.
| What is going wrong? | What to consider |
|---|---|
| A clean collision lacks impact | Ram damage improvements |
| The next opening arrives before the active is ready | A relevant cooldown improvement |
| Boost runs out before your approach | More available nitro |
| You cannot reach or leave a useful position | Movement choices and a safer route |
Keep the rest of your loadout in view. A bonus limited to side modules serves a different part of the castle from a front-module bonus. Read the affected slot before choosing an artifact for a Ram-focused run.
Compare movement and defense
Speed can support the Ram’s collision mechanic, but faster movement also demands a route you can control. When a vehicle upgrade offers a movement-oriented option, compare the whole choice with the defense you would give up.
If you are surviving encounters and need a stronger approach, movement may support your plan. If repeated collisions are ending the run, reassess both your angle and survivability before adding more speed. Read any handling changes in the upgrade panel as part of the decision.
Before your next encounter
- Choose a target and an exit route.
- Check whether your active and boost are available.
- Line up before accelerating.
- After the hit, decide whether to leave or make another pass.
The useful outcome is a collision you can repeat, rather than a single large hit followed by an avoidable death.
