Achievement rebalance: which thresholds changed?

The September 10 changes lowered later distance, boss-kill and consumption milestones. Vehicle-destruction tiers stayed the same. The numbers below are cumulative goals, not a requirement to finish them in one run.

250 km is the third distance milestone, not the final one. The 500-to-100 reduction applies to the final boss milestone, not all vehicle kills. See every unchanged and changed tier below.

A practical order for completion

1. Build a reliable clear. Work toward “You won!” with the equipment you own. Use Wanderburg build candidates and matchup choices to improve your route. Repeated failed attempts at a much harder stage are not automatically the fastest route to cumulative progress.
2. Open the next regions. The Desert and Dark Forest achievements track those biome unlocks. Check your current map and progression options before planning a target from a locked region.
3. Work toward vehicle unlocks. Spiderburg has the four Golden Dunes bosses requirement; Tankenburg has the four Dusky Pines bosses requirement. Compare the vehicle requirements and separate Silver purchases while tracking their unlock achievements.
4. Clear the remaining lands. “All Lands won!” is the all-lands victory goal. Keep a list of areas you have actually won, rather than counting entry into a new biome as a victory.
5. Finish the cumulative counters. Distance, vehicle destruction, boss destruction and unit consumption can progress across runs. Pick a route that gives the missing actions while keeping your loadout alive.

Do not assign an overall counter to a single attempt. The consumption milestones say units, while the Catapult unlock specifically requires consuming cows. A broad achievement and a named-species task can progress differently.

Distance achievements: meters in the name, kilometers in the description

The milestones are 10,000, 100,000, 250,000, 500,000 and 1,000,000 meters. Those equal 10, 100, 250, 500 and 1,000 kilometers. Steam's achievement names use periods as thousands separators; “10.000 meters” means ten thousand meters.

Progress is cumulative. Choose movement that supports the rest of the run, with enough nitro for escapes. Boost speed, nitro capacity and consumption are different effects; a faster boost does not remove the need for a safe route.

Welcome to the Desert not unlocking?

Wanderburg 0.9.14 fixes the Welcome to the Desert achievement. Update the game, then check whether the achievement is unlocked in Steam after your Desert progression.

If an older save is still missing it, record the game version and your Desert unlock state before repeating a run. The patch does not specify retroactive credit for old saves. Use the official support routes if the issue persists.

What if an achievement is not completing?

• Check the exact action. Destroying a vehicle, defeating a boss and consuming a unit are different counters.
• Check the exact list. A 1,000-Silver Ram quest reward is not a Steam achievement reward. Use the quest list for in-game requirements.
• Check your game version. The 0.9.9 update fixed the first-win and all-biomes-won achievements. Update the game before repeating attempts on an older build.
• Record a reproducible example. Keep the achievement name, game version, relevant counter and the action you completed. Use the official community and support routes if the same issue persists.
